What is icscis

Established in 1996, icscis inc. is a small cultural organization without walls operating in and from North America, Europe and South America. Its mission is:

1) to democratize art and culture;
2) to increase cultural knowledge at all levels, by delivering first class art education;
3) to develop a greater understanding between people from developed and less developed countries;
4) to facilitate exchange between cultural organizations such as schools, art schools, foundations, nongovernmental organizations (NGO), nonprofit organizations, etc.;
5) to eliminate barriers within paradigms or established frameworks;
6) and to achieve its goals through affordable programming.

icscis inc. offers programs and services in two complementary segments:

1) icscis …the Art School at www.painting-workshop.com offers professional painting workshops and art courses in Europe, North America and South America.

2) walkthearts at www.walkthearts.com offers:

(a) tailored art programs affiliated with a university, an embassy, a college, any other school, or any other single individual.
(b) full art classes (theory, art history, practical) at art institutions;
(c) art management services for art organizations.

icscis receives but also gives back. A small portion of the revenues from the art workshops permit us to develop relationships with other funders as well as people and groups in need. In brief, at icscis, we believe that a deeper understanding of arts and culture leads to the betterment of all societies.
